I don’t know what I signed up for! How do I find out?

When you registered, you received a confirmation email from farmstopconference@regfox.com with the subject line Registration Confirmation To Farm Stop Conference. This email includes all ticketed options you registered for. It also includes a link for you to sign into RegFox to see your registrations. After checking this, if you are still unsure, please email farmstopconference@gmail.com.

How do I get to the conference location?

The conference is being held at the Morris Lawrence Building at Washtenaw Community College. If you put just the address into a map navigator like google maps, it will direct you generically to the college campus, not the building. Be sure to use “Morris Lawrence Building” for your own navigation (or rideshare) or follow signs for the Morris Lawrence Building/Towsley Auditorium on arrival. There is a pull-through drive for curbside drop-offs if you need it and ample parking in front of the entrance.

See a map with parking directions here.

Please note that our community college is a training center for various organizations, so do not be alarmed to see different vehicles parked out front - from electric cars covered in cameras to construction fleets, to police cars and motorcycles.

What food will be provided?

The conference will provide light breakfast, tea/coffee, lunch, and snacks during break times. At The Farm Stop Conference, all food is prepared with locally produced products whenever possible.

Dinners (unless you are attending the speaker dinner) are on your own. We have done our best to accommodate various dietary needs. however, if you have extreme allergies or complex food needs, there will also be a refrigerator provided if you would like to bring your own food.

What is the dress code?

Please come as you are comfortable. Most folks will arrive in business casual attire, though some will be in farm clothes and some in suits. There will be a coat room at the conference for your coats.

Is the conference accessible?

Yes. All conference spaces and the auditorium are accessible. There is a pull through drive at the front of the building as well as ample handicapped parking on site. If you need accessible entry to the auditorium, please let the registration table know and we can direct you.

If you visit Argus Farm Stop, our Liberty store has a dedicated handicapped parking spot and our Packard stores have on-street parking in front of each location. Both can be accessed without stairs.

What else can I do in Ann Arbor?

Our friends at Destination Ann Arbor have great recommendations for what to do while here. They even made a landing page just for us recommending farm to table restaurants and other areas that may be of interest to attendees.

In addition to the three Argus Farm Stop locations, there is another farm stop nearby! If you can, please visit Agricole Farm Stop in Chelsea, about a 30 minute drive west of Ann Arbor.

Also, feel free to ask any Argus staff member you encounter as we are happy to recommend anything we can!

How do I get around town?

The Michigan Flyer is a convenient bus service from DTW to downtown Ann Arbor.

Destination Ann Arbor has also provided transportation links on their landing page. Rideshares are plentiful in Ann Arbor, and while public transportation exists, it is not as robust as in a large city.

For carpool arrangements, please see the Farm Stop Network’s slack channel.

Will sessions be recorded?

Sessions will not be recorded and posted publicly. Most presentation slides (with presenter permission) will be shared several weeks post-conference via email.
